NOTE: If you are using the Chrome browser you may get the following error when you download the trial ” setupv6_Demo.exe is not commonly downloaded and could be dangerous.” It is not dangerous, it is a new chrome security for downloads that is affecting many software downloads currently. There are 3 ways to download the file.
1) When you see the error in the bottom left corner of your browser you can click on the small black arrow to the right and select “keep”.
2) If the download error does not show “discard” but “dismiss” click dismiss.
Then go to settings (Top right corner of your browser) and select Downloads.
One the next screen that opens click on “Recover malicious file” (The file is not malicious). You can now go to your downloads folder and run the setup file.
3) Turn off download warnings in Chrome:
If you don’t want Chrome to show you download warnings, you can turn off your phishing and malware protection setting. Turning off these warnings will also turn off other malware and phishing alerts.
In the top-right corner of the browser window, click the Chrome menu Chrome menu.
Select Settings.
Click Show advanced settings.
Under “Privacy,” deselect the “Enable phishing and malware protection” checkbox.
Depending on your version of Windows you may get a Warning as below
Click on the More Info and then select Run anyway – the file is safe to run.
